Choice of cable for the magnetic loop:
Most single 3-conductor cables can be used to make an inductive loop with a DC resistance of 0.5 to 1 Ohm.
The graph below shows a cable resistance to be chosen in relation to the length (choose a cross section that is in the non-shaded area) e.g. for 100 ml between 2 and 4 mm2.
