PROTECTION RATING

The protection rating is a determining indicator in the choice of your sound equipment. Depending on your needs, you must analyze the scale of protection ratings, which is relatively broad, in order to select the most effective material for the use of the loudspeaker (weather, vandalism). 

The degree of protection of the enclosures of electrical equipment is defined according to the standards CEI 60529, EN 60529 and NF C 20-010.

In the table below you will find the first number which defines the degree of protection against accidental contact, foreign bodies and dust. The second number defines the degree of protection against water.
