How do you connect your amplifier to 100-volt in-line speakers?
100V wiring for Rondson amplifiers and loudspeakers!
In public address systems, the wiring between the amplifier and the loudspeakers must meet certain requirements, otherwise there is a risk of a fault or malfunction!
Steps to be taken before installing a 100-volt in-line wiring system:
- Connect the cable to the ‘COM’ and ‘100V’ terminals on the amplifier
- Connect the cable to the ‘COM’ and ‘20W’ terminals, or to the terminals for the appropriate power rating of the speaker(s)
(The 4 Ω or 8 Ω terminals are intended for low-impedance use only)
However, Rondson offers several types of amplifiers, each of which requires a different wiring configuration, namely:
AM Series: 100V mixer amplifiers

AME-6 Series: 6-zone multimedia mixer amplifiers
Integration of the public address system cut-off signal from the SSI fire control panel, with the option to connect a priority message from our DMT-8M safety message player.

ZA Series: Zone Mixer Amplifiers

4Z Series: Zone Mixer Amplifiers
