Discover our complete range of mixer amplifiers, standard, matrix, multi-zone, with integrated media sources. These references also offer different power outputs to adapt to your sound installation in 100 Volt line or low impedance depending on your needs.
PA mute or music cut, 24V backup power supply, these features have also become essential.
Rondson offers a wide range of mixer amplifiers. Discover our various power levels and functions adapted to the specificities of your Public Address installation.
These amplifiers feature 100 Volt transformers and are also compatible with low-impedance use.
Discover our complete range of low impedance amplifiers designed for professional sound systems. Available in stereo (2-channel) and multi-channel (4-channel) configurations, our amps deliver power ranging from 2 × 15 W to 1600 W to suit all your installation projects (restaurants, bars, hotels...).
To complete our range of 100V Amplifiers and Preamplifiers, we offer a wide choice of accessories and stands. These accessories are the ideal addition to your 100V amplifiers and preamplifiers. They will complete your installation and guarantee a flawless sound experience.
The 100-volt amplifier is not a conventional amplifier, contrary to what one might know. In public address systems, the amplifiers used are equipped with 100V audio transformers, just like the speakers, namely one that increases the voltage at the output of the amplifier and another transformer that lowers the voltage in each speaker.
This configuration therefore makes it possible to maintain a similar sound quality on each speaker throughout the installation, regardless of the distance, so that anyone in this space can correctly hear background music, an audio commercial, or a clearly audible call (evacuation...).
100V mixer amplifiers generally offer a single mono output, from which a single line of 100V speakers is wired in parallel.
The first step is to define the type of speaker and, above all, the total power of the speakers that will be used in the area to be covered.
This sum will allow you to determine the power of your amplifier:
Example: You have determined that you need 10 speakers of 10W to provide sound for your store, making a total of 100W. You now know that you need an amplifier of more than 100W. You can therefore select a 120W amp to have a safety margin.
There are several types of amplifiers, which brings us to the next step: determining the family of your amplifier (standard, multi-zone, or matrix).
There are several types of amplifiers, so it is essential to choose your amplifier according to your installation: Standard, multi-zone, or matrix.
TYPES OF AMPLIFIERS
Among the features offered, some amplifiers are equipped with built-in audio sources, namely a CD, Tuner, MP3, USB, SD, or Bluetooth module, allowing the broadcasting of background music or radio if needed.
If the amplifier does not offer these types of features, external media players or audio source modules can be added to your installation.
The use of 100V amplifiers in public places allows the broadcasting of commercials and musical playlists, but their role is also to broadcast safety or evacuation messages in case of emergency.
The PA mute or music-cut terminals located on the back of the amps give priority to the microphone or the emergency control panel in the event of an incident, by cutting the music as their name suggests.
The AM 120UB is one of these 100V amps equipped with the PA mute feature.
The 24V backup power supply, for its part, takes over in the event of a power outage, thus allowing the building to remain equipped with sound.
The ZA series amplifiers are equipped with 24V DC terminals.
